AACD Accreditation

Volunteer Mentor Network

The Voluntary Mentoring Network is available to Members in the Process (MIP) who are looking for someone to help guide them with cases and help answer any clinical questions they may have regarding the Accreditation process. Mentors are Accreditation Examiners who volunteer their time and expertise to assist colleagues who are attempting to earn the credential. The purpose of the AACD's volunteer mentor program is to assist members in the AACD Accreditation process. Please be sure to read "How to Use Your Mentor Effectively", prior to communicating with your mentor. This will help streamline communication and outline expectations.

Anonymous Mentoring
You may elect to send your request for anonymous mentor review via email. The AACD Credentialing Department will facilitate the communication between both parties in a confidential manner. Please use the Candidate/Mentor Communication Template listed above to load your case for review. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for turn-around time.
