Dr. Mechanic is the author of “Esthetic Dentistry / Smile Design: a patient’s guide”, numerous dental articles, is the esthetic editor of Oral Health Journal and is on the advisory board to other dental publications. He is the co-founder of the Canadian Academy for Esthetic Dentistry (CAED) and is active in numerous dental societies. He lectures internationally and is the coordinator of the Restorative Dental Continuum at the University of Toronto.
