It’s been said that change is inevitable but personal growth is a choice. Over my years as Accreditation Chairman and now as Fellowship Chairman, I have witnessed the credentials serving as a springboard for personal and professional growth for so many of our AACD members. If you are Accredited, Fellowship is the next frontier. It is the highest level of achievement in the AACD and serves to push you to greater heights.
If you make the choice to pursue Fellowship, you'll experience:
Growth in clinical excellence and confidence in treatment planning and case acceptance.
Growth in academia as a local, national and even international lecturer.
Growth in publications as a writer and as an editorial review board member.
Growth in service to both the Academy and to the profession.
Accredited Fellow, Dr. James Merriman states;
“Why would you want to make the effort to move from Accredited Member to Accredited Fellow? The answer is a lot like what would make you attempt the credential to begin with. You wanted to see how your skills measure up, how you could push yourself to reach a difficult and sometimes tortuous goal, but at the same time something attainable if you are persistent.”
Remember, personal growth is a choice.
