The Evy Award has been frequently called
"The Oscars of Dentistry"

 

Evy Awards are given to AACD Members or Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry authors who have made a tremendous impact in the dental industry. These award winners are selected by our prestigous American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry leadership, and presented at our annual conference.  


 

 

Membership-wide award categories include:




Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry Education Award

This award is given to an AACD member that, through his/her efforts as an educator, has advanced the art and science of cosmetic dentistry. Educational contributions can be in traditional educational institutions or through lectures and seminars.

This award is given to an AACD Member who has made outstanding contributions to charitable and philanthropic causes.  All types of humanitarian actions, both within and outside of the dental industry, will be considered for this award.

Outstanding Service & Mentoring Award

The History of the Evy

The late Dr. Jeffrey Golub-Evans was the creative force behind the coveted AACD Celebration of Excellence statuette. The award was recently christened “The Evy,” in honor of him.

The statuette is presented to award winners each year at the Celebration of Excellence Gala during the Annual AACD Scientific Session.

Since his passing, Dr. Golub-Evans has generated many thoughtful comments and remembrances from AACD members and others who were a part of his life.
