The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's mission is to promote continuing dental education by offering superior educational opportunities to dental professionals, such as our annual scientific session, virtual dental education courses, the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, and various events throughout the year.
Our continuing dental education credits are highly valued in the industry. The focus of our annual scientific session is to allow practitioners to exchange new ideas and receive interdisciplinary and actionable information on a number of topics including:
  • clinical procedures,
  • materials and methods,
  • cosmetic dental practice development, and
  • self-enrichment.
In addition, dentists may earn AGD continuing dental education credits as well as credit towards achieving Accredited status in the AACD. Our Accredited dentists can earn up to three times as much as a general dentist for cosmetic dentistry procedures.

AACD Annual Scientific Sessions
Every year the AACD hosts a conference where dental professionals from all around the globe come together to participate in hands-on workshops, lectures, general session events, social networking events, and learning about the latest tech and trends in an exhibit hall full of industry-leading dental companies. This event gives dental professionals an opportunity to build on what they know, master the latest techniques, and learn about the benefits and resources the AACD has to offer dental professionals of all experience levels.

Accreditation Written Examination Prep Course

Join AACD’s Written Examination Committee (WEC) as they prepare you for the first step in the Accreditation process, the written examination. The WEC will provide you with study tips and share valuable insight as you prepare to begin your very own Accreditation journey. This course includes a sample examination only available on CEntral, as a bundle with this course. The Written Exam Prep Course is not a requirement for Accreditation but will certainly be beneficial.

The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (jCD) is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal. The AACD’s flagship publication provides the latest information on current esthetic clinical treatments, techniques, clinical cases, and research. Voted AACD's #1 member benefit and one of the industry’s leading publications, members receive the jCD in both a printed and digital format.
AACD's Bimonthly Midline 
Midline features a highly visual and interactive layout to showcase the latest clinical techniques. Opt-in to receive this quick, clinical news email every other month.
