The Accreditation process, which was developed by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is the world’s most recognized advanced cosmetic dentistry credentialing program, encourages further education, interaction with like-minded colleagues, and the opportunity for professional growth. Accreditation requires dedication to continuing education and responsible patient care.

Dimple Desai, DDS, AAACD

Dr. Dimple Desai is the founder of Luminous Smiles of Newport Beach, a boutique dental practice focusing on rejuvenating patients’ lives through their smiles. She has been recognized locally as Orange County’s Top Dentist for the past three years and was selected as one of the Top 40 Dentists under the age of 40 in the country. Dr. Desai obtained both her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, and later returned to her Alma Mater as a Clinical Adjunct Professor to educate dental students on the clinic floor. Dr. Desai is a graduate of the Kois Institute.

Ryan Springer, DDS, AAACD

Dr. Ryan Springer owns and operates a comprehensive general practice. He graduated on the Dean’s List from Indiana University, majoring in biology with chemistry and psychology minors. He continued his education at Indiana University School of Dentistry where he graduated. Dr. Springer was awarded the Dean’s Silver Award, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Implant Award, and the Academy of Osseointegration Implant Dentistry Award. Upon graduation, Dr. Springer completed a year-long implant fellowship. Dr. Springer is a scholar and ambassador of the Dawson Academy, as well as an alumnus from the Kois Center, and Spear Institute. 

Joy Brauer, DDS, AAACD

Dr. Joy Brauer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2003. She has been practicing dentistry in Arizona for the last 18 years. Since 2006, she’s worked in a dental practice that she opened with her husband, Dr. Howie Brauer. Her focus and passion over the last 10 years has been cosmetic dentistry. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of work, Dr. Brauer stays busy with the numerous activities that her three daughters are involved in.
