John M. Pinnix IV, DMD, FAGD, AAACD

John M. Pinnix IV, DMD, FAGD is a general, reconstructive, and cosmetic dentist dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for his patients. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2001 and has practiced at Advanced Dentistry of Blakeney for 17 years. He is passionate about improving his patient’s quality of life by creating healthy, attractive, natural looking smiles.
His clinical interests include Cosmetic Dentistry, Complex Dental Rehabilitation, Restorative Dentistry, TMJ therapy, and Dental Sleep Medicine. He is known for his high standard of excellence and down-to-earth, compassionate personality Dr. Pinnix was recently honored by being named a Top Dentist by Charlotte Magazine and currently serves as Spear Faculty Club Member and local Spear Study Club Leader. In his spare time, Dr. Pinnix loves traveling and spending time with his wife, Cori and two children, Calli and Brock.

Christina Pruitt, DDS, AAACD

Dr. Christina Pruitt grew up in a rural town in western Nebraska with a passion for helping people in the community. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Creighton University and then went on to the UNMC College of Dentistry to obtain her dental degree, graduating with high distinction in 2010. After dental school, she was accepted into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) through the United States Air Force, where she spent four years in active-duty service to our nation, taking care of our service members and veterans.  The AEGD allowed her to work alongside all dental specialists and hone her dental skill set. In constant pursuit of education, Dr. Pruitt has since been in private practice and spent hundreds of hours at the prestigious Kois Center learning advanced evidence-based dental diagnoses and treatments.  She is also a member and accreditation candidate in process with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).  She is especially enthusiastic about implants, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry! Outside of the office, Dr. Pruitt enjoys spending time with her husband, Chase (who is also a dental professional—oral surgeon), and their two boys.  Her hobbies include golfing, cooking, reading, fitness, and travel.

Tammy Sarles, DMD, AAACD

Dr. Tammy Sarles is currently practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada and has been in private
practice for over 15 years. She grew up in Colorado and was inspired by her childhood dentist’s compassion for his patients. With a love of both art and science, she knew dentistry was her future. Dr. Sarles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Metropolitan State University in Denver and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She has achieved her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and is a graduate of the Kois Center, where she is currently working to achieve Mentor status. 

Hanno Venter, BDS, AAACD

Dr. Hanno Venter was born in South Africa and graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2003. He moved to Australia in 2008, where he still lives and works. Multi-disciplinary dentistry is his passion and focus, and in combination with his orthodontic, surgical, and cosmetic dentistry skills, he provides his patients with comprehensive dental treatment plans to rehabilitate form and function. Hanno has earned his Diplomateship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has published multiple articles and peer-reviewed articles in American dental magazines. He currently works in private practice in Melbourne, Australia.

David Whalen, DDS, AAACD

Dr. Whalen is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2012 and the San Francisco VA Medical Center General Practice Residency. He has his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and has been a member of the AACD since 2016.  Dr. Whalen currently practices in Troy, Michigan.  

Chris Weber, DDS, AAACD

Dr. Chris Weber lives and practices in Franklin, TN.  He grew up in a dental family and attended the University of the Pacific, graduating in 2015.  After meeting Dr. JA Reynolds and acquiring his practice, Chris joined the AACD and began his Accreditation journey in 2018, under JA’s mentorship.  Chris and his wife Katelyn have two dogs and are looking forward to raising a family in Tennessee.
