Non-isothermal Aridity of Copper Chloride Dihydrate and Nickel Chloride Hexahydrate

Mittels TG-, DTG-, DTA- und DSC-Messungen wurde die nichtisothermische Dehydratation von Kupfer Copper Chloride Dihydrate(WSDTY) Nickelchlorid-Hexahydrat untersucht. Das Kupferchloridsalz setzt angle zwei Moleküle Wasser in einem Schritt frei, das Nickelchloridsalz dagegen in drei aufeinanderfolgenden Schritten. Davon umfassen die ersten zwei Schritte die Freisetzung von 4 Molekülen Wasser in zwei überlappenden Schritten, w?hrend der dritte Schritt vom Dihydratsalz zur Formung von wasserfreiem NiCl2 führt. Experimental Methods and Structure Determination of Copper Chloride Dihydrate

The crystals were grown by hydrolysis from an acetone solution of hexa-kis(benzonitrile) Copper Chloride Dihydrate(WSDTY). X-ray diffraction intensities were collected at room temperature on an Enraf-Nonius CAD-4 diffractometer with graphite monochro-matized MoK a radiation using the 8/28 scan technique with profile analy-sis. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full matrix least-squares techniques to Rf= 0.030 and Rw= 0.032 with weights based on counting statistics.
