This has been a challenging year for all of us. AACD leadership and staff have been faced with many difficult decisions since the onset of this pandemic. Recently, AACD President, Salvatore Lotardo, DDS, AAACD, posted his townhall address regarding the state of the Academy. In his video talk, President Lotardo outlined several AACD happenings:

• Cancellation of AACD Rockies 2021 due to limitations and restrictions due to the pandemic
• AACD Happy Hours with big name speakers and cool topics
• AACD Hands-on @Home Workshops, launching in April
• The Cosmetic Dental Marketing Institute, launching this spring
• AACD CEntral online learning platform
• April 21 Annual Member Meeting
• Testing center Accreditation Written Exams are now available

"We are far from done in '21, but don't forget to mark your calendar for AACD 2022 Orlando. We continue to reexamine, reimagine, and readapt. Change is good, and necessary. The AACD will succeed and overcome because of you--our people!"
